ADHD 101 for Adults

Updated: Jul 21, 2024

Since the pandemic we have seen an increase in adults seek coaching services who are diagnosed with, or strongly suspect they may be struggling with, ADHD. The pandemic altered the everyday routines and systems that many adults had in place; where we work, how we work, and how we live immediately changed. Routines, structure, and strategies that once worked needed an immediate overhaul.

At Grown Guidance we focus on untangling adults and building effective strategies and routines that reduce anxiety. Barriers can feel insurmountable at times, but looking at them together with a professional can help get you moving in the right direction.

We are often asked for resources about ADHD, and wanted to share with our community some of our favorites. Below are some short, digestible "ADHD 101" resources in a variety of formats. We have found these useful in not only helping clients better understand themselves, but also sharing with loved ones and support systems so that they may better understand ADHD.
